Arewa Community United Kingdom is a UK-registered Diaspora led non-profit organisation whose aim is to contribute to the sustainable, social, and economic development of every indigene of the Nineteen (19) Northern states of Nigeria in the UK diaspora by harnessing its human capital, knowledge, and networks that bring development to ourselves and our people back at home.

To nurture and engage the intellectual, philanthropic and entrepreneurial capacity of Northern Nigerians in UK Diaspora to be a go-to resource, strategic partner, and thought leader for organising philanthropic activities, entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, and leaders in their aspirations to create positive change in the communities in which we live, Northern Nigeria and Nigeria at large.
To be the first-rate Community Association for Nigerians in Diaspora by having a more significant involvement in Nigeria’s development and achieving enhanced recognition for impact, ethics, and due diligence in pursuit of sustainable, social, and economic development in our adopted homeland and country of origin.
OBJECTIVES
- To foster the spirit of friendship and unity among indigenes of the nineteen (19) northern states of Nigeria resident in The United Kingdom.
- To promote the welfare of its registered members in the United Kingdom.
- To provide a platform for discussing and exchanging developmental ideas that promote the well-being of the indigenes of the nineteen (19) northern states of Nigeria resident in the United Kingdom.
- To facilitate cooperation with an emphasis on unity and a sense of shared purpose, and value within Northern Nigerian communities, Nigerians, and the cosmopolitan communities in the UK.
- To promote the culture and tradition of Northern Nigeria to the cosmopolitan communities in the UK to find commonalities and build relationships of trust across differences through a cultural exchange (e.g., Music, Drama, Arts Exhibitions, and Dance).
- To carry out social, Educational, Training and Economic activities for the benefit of the members and the wider Community.
- To encourage other activities that may enhance the above objectives, like Conferences, Seminars, Festivals, workshops, etc.
- To network with other associations as may be mutually beneficial.
